The Kitchen
As you walk back through the Front Room and go by the roll-top desk, take a right into our Kitchen. The "Hurley Harvest" exhibit at Hurley Heritage Society inspired us to give the Kitchen a well-deserved makeover in 2015. We added displays about dairy equipment, apple-pie making, "The Farmer's Wife," mechanical apple parers, and Ellen Saddlemire's cookbook. Learn more about historic homes of Knox here. Visit the Virtual Apple Parer Museum for the history of apple parers.
